Overview
This document explains the tasks that you must perform to update your BlackBerry® environment to support Daylight Saving Time (DST) 2007 changes. It also includes troubleshooting information to help you determine whether your environment has been updated successfully with the time zone information for DST 2007.

Updating a Microsoft Exchange environment
Complete the tasks in the following order: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Update each Microsoft Windows Server® that is running Microsoft Exchange or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Update the Microsoft Windows® clients. Update BlackBerry devices. Run the RIM Set Send As Permission tool. Apply the most recent Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and the Microsoft Exchange Server. Run a Microsoft calendar update tool (optional).
Update the Microsoft Windows Server that is running Microsoft Exchange or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server
Software Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Description Install the appropriate Microsoft Windows Update to update the time zone information. Adjust the time zone manually using the TZedit.exe application or by applying the appropriate registry keys. Visit www.microsoft.com to read article 914387 for more information.
